Now and Then....Shopping....(part 3)

The Future, of City Centre Mall, this is new addition  view
has been taken at the upper level of the mall....the future
Hotel....maybe when I am long gone... maybe someone from
my family will be in Kitimat and explore like I have.

Above, you can see Shop Easy, the mall was busy, professial
business, dr. dentist, restaurants, photographer, etc...

  2. Not sure if you're still reading comments here, Jewel, or if you're still curious about these old buildings, but having lived there for most of the 1970s and the first half of the 1980s, I can identify one of them for you:

    The building with the Bank of Montreal -- you've captioned the picture "The 60's not sure what the buildings were, but part of' City Centre mall.....2012 holds 2 banks BMO and RBC " -- used to hold the BMO as well as federal offices. There was a large post office, and the federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans was in there, too. My dad worked at the DFO. I rarely got to go into his office, but it smelled of wood and paper and Gestetner ink.
